Skuld, Norn of the Future. Skuld, One of the Three Norns, or Norse Goddesses of Fate, from the World Goddess 

Skuld is one of the three Norns or Fates of Norse mythology, Who sit beneath the great ash-tree Yggdrasil and spin the thread of destiny. Yggdrasil is the World-tree of Norse mythos, representing the Axis Mundi (axis of the world) or divine center, and the Tree stretches from the underworlds to the heavens, connecting all the Nine Worlds.

The Norns in Norse mythology are female beings who rule the destiny of gods and men.

Verdandi, what will become, is measuring out the yarn. This is not a fatalistic viewpoint, but one of potential. The word can generally apply to anyone who is a user of magic, but here we’re referring to the main or principal beings with that name: the three known as Wyrd (Urd), Verdandi and Skuld. They are the caretakers of Yggdrasil.
